Hi everyone today i want to share a tutorial how to make Korean horn bow i collect various information from various sources and then write it again in my blog with a little explanation from me so easy to understand by common people.
Maybe the question arises why the picture of the movie poster, because i like this movie, that's all.
Basically I prefer things that are classic about whatever it is, I would say wow when I see a new vehicle, but my eyes will glow when I see old Vespa that is care with glossy paint, why is that? Because I see a history, art and beauty on the things that are classic, but I do not deny I also like the modern things, but if asked whether classical or modern? Then I would prefer a classic.
So also with the bow I prefer the traditional arc of Korean compound bows, because there is art in the process of making it, so let's start.
From various articles I see the difference in the tools used in making the bow, but basically there are some similarities in the tools used such as saws, knives, machetes and others, the example of the tool you can see in the pictures below.

Can you see the similarities and differences?
Ok next we will discuss for the materials, for the material I do not see any difference, almost all korean bow makers use the same materials like, wood, bamboo, horn of the water buffalo, glue from the bladder fish and sinew.
