2014 - What a Year!

It amazes me that it's possible for time to fly faster, or so it seems. At this time last year, I was expecting our 6th child and looking forward to the new year, 2014, to welcome our sweet addition to our family. While I could write a whole post about that, I'm going to focus on projects and learning experiences I've been blessed to have.

Being pregnant can put a slight crimp on your work, especially if it's furniture refinishing, right? So, at the start of the year, I was trying to keep it light and warm (we live in northeast Ohio and last winter knocked our socks off).

This antique rocker was only missing it's seat, and I decided to give it a grain-sack touch to give it a unique flair. The hand-carved woodwork alone was something to see.
